Community Healing & Connection – Every Morning with Runewind Healing Arts


Because healing feels deeper when we do it together.

At Runewind Healing Arts, we believe that taking care of yourself doesn’t have to feel overwhelming — and you don’t have to do it alone. Our daily community groups are designed to help you gently reconnect with your body, mind, and spirit, all while building real connections with others who value kindness, presence, and growth.

Whether you’re taking your first step into self-care or looking to add a calming ritual to your mornings, these groups offer:

  • A safe, welcoming space for anyone — beginners and experienced practitioners alike
  • Supportive community connection to ease loneliness and foster belonging
  • Physical and mental benefits through gentle movement, mindfulness, and fresh air
  • Consistency and grounding to help you start every day with intention

Our gatherings are held every morning at Woods Park in Lincoln and are free to join (donations welcome, never required). You can come to one, the other, or both — whatever fits your needs each day.

Find Your Rhythm, Find Your People

Sometimes, taking the first step toward caring for yourself is the hardest part — especially if you feel disconnected, stressed, or alone. Our Morning Walking Group is more than just a stroll through Woods Park — it’s a gentle, welcoming space to move your body, clear your mind, and feel a sense of belonging.

We walk at a slow, easy pace along a scenic 2-mile loop (45 minutes) — no pressure, no competition, just movement, breath, and the grounding calm of nature. After the walk, we gather in a small circle to reflect — sharing gratitude, setting intentions, or simply listening.

Why This Might Be What You Need:

  • Ease into self-care: If meditation or exercise feels intimidating, this is a simple, approachable way to start.
  • Combat loneliness: Meet people who value kindness, connection, and growth.
  • Boost your mood and energy naturally: Gentle movement, sunlight, and nature help reset your body and mind.
  • Start your day with intention: Leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

  • Every morning at 8:30AM (walk starts at 8:35, ends around 9:20)
  • Woods Park, Lincoln (meet at the the shelter by the fitness area)

What to Bring:

Sunscreen, insect repellent, water, and comfortable shoes.

30 Minute Guided Meditation Group in the Park

Calm Your Mind, Center Your Spirit

If you’ve ever felt like your mind is too busy to sit still, or that meditation is only for “experts,” this group is for you. Our guided sessions make meditation easy and accessible, even for beginners.

Each 30-minute gathering includes:

  • Gentle breathwork to release stress and help you settle
  • A calming body scan to loosen tension
  • A simple visualization (like feeling sunlight warming you or imagining roots grounding you)
  • Moments of quiet reflection for personal peace
  • Closing words of encouragement to carry calm into your day

You don’t need any experience — just an open heart and a willingness to try. Many who join us are completely new to meditation, or simply looking for a safe, supportive space to breathe and feel present.
